Our commitment to corporate social responsibility has allowed us to make a meaningful impact on various communities and individuals. Over the years, Peregrine Capital has supported many initiatives, the most noteworthy being:

Afrika Tikkun (AT) has been an organisation close to our hearts, and we have collaborated with them on several initiatives. Through their Cradle to Career (C2C) 360º Model, AT aims to meet the diverse needs of young people from previously disadvantaged communities. Peregrine Capital has been actively involved in supporting programs such as The Africa Tikkun Career Expo in Diepsloot and the Youth Accelerator Programme Career Expo, both of which have provided invaluable opportunities for young individuals to explore career paths and develop essential skills.

Another initiative we have proudly supported is the Mandela Rhodes Foundation (MRF). The MRF's mission is to cultivate exceptional leadership capacity in Africa by offering excellent education and training opportunities to individuals with leadership potential. Through our ongoing sponsorship of post-graduate student scholarships, we have contributed to nurturing well-rounded leaders who will make a significant impact in their communities and chosen fields.

We have also extended our support to Seeds of Light, an NPO operating in Acornhoek, Mpumalanga. Recognising the challenges faced by under-resourced schools in the area, particularly for girls, Seeds of Light established a Saturday education program focused on improving their math and English abilities. Our involvement in this initiative aims to empower academically strong female students, allowing them to achieve greater success in their education and beyond.

In line with our commitment to financial literacy and economic empowerment, we have donated funding to the ASISA Foundation. This public benefit organisation, founded by the Association of Savings and Investments South Africa, aims to enhance financial literacy and enable greater economic participation among marginalised populations in South Africa. Our contribution plays a vital role in promoting financial education and empowering individuals to make informed financial decisions.

Furthermore, our dedication to education led us to support the "Start the Conversation" campaign, which focuses on consumer education and financial literacy for high school students. By equipping young individuals with the necessary knowledge and skills, we are contributing to their long-term financial well-being.

We have also been involved with Nomalanga Day Care Centre, located in the heart of Soweto. This center has been providing essential care and support to over 100 children, ranging in age from infants to 6-year-olds. Our contributions have helped with teacher training and the provision of daily necessities, including groceries, gas, and educational materials. We encourage anyone interested in assisting further to reach out to Nomalanga directly on 073 246 4796.

One initiative that truly exemplifies the generosity and compassion within our business is our staff-led project, Kids Haven. Through collective fundraising efforts, we sponsored a memorable Christmas party for 150 children and caregivers. Witnessing the joy and delight on their faces was a humbling experience, and we are grateful to our dedicated staff for their unwavering support in making a positive impact on the lives of those in need.

In our pursuit of female empowerment and career development, we organised a Career Day Expo for 32 matric learners from Letsibogo Girls High School in Soweto. This event provided a platform for our team to share their industry expertise and inspire these young women as they embark on their professional journeys. By expanding their understanding of career opportunities, we hope to empower them to pursue their dreams and contribute to their chosen fields.

As we reflect on these projects, we are immensely proud of the positive changes we have facilitated. The continued success of our corporate social responsibility initiatives is a testament to our commitment to making a difference in the lives of others. We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone involved, from our dedicated staff to the NPOs we have partnered with.
